The Flange Management Joint Integrity (FMJIT) programme covers the skills and knowledge required to work safely in hazardous environments.

The candidate will learn to identify generic hazards, plant related safety, basic safety management concepts and how to use controlled bolting equipment to carry out specialist critical bolting applications. The practical knowledge gained from the City & Guilds assured training enables participants to maintain their professional competency.

The following are the City & Guilds Assured training standards included in the Flange Management Joint Integrity (FMJIT) for the Assembly, Tightening and Disassembly of Bolted Connections course.

 

The Flange Management Joint Integrity course is a 2 days lecture come practical course comprising of the following:-

- JIT10 - Hand Torque Bolted Connections - Dismantle, prepare and secure hand torque bolted connections.

- JIT18 - Hydraulically Tension Bolted Connections - Dismantling, assemble and tension bolted connections

using hydraulic tensioning equipment.

- JIT19 - Dismantling, Assembling and Tightening Bolted Connections

- Dismantle, assemble and tighten bolted connections using powered torque equipment.

Who Should Attend?

Engineers/Technicians who will be involved in the use of hand, hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment.Technicians who will be involved in flange assembly.
